> AtherOps is a boutique DevOps and SRE firm. We run your infrastructure, pipelines, monitoring, and backups on a flat monthly retainer: senior capacity in week one, cancel any month, backed by a 90-day guarantee.

Principal-led and deliberately small, with a capped client book so every engagement gets principal-level attention. Based in Sydney, Australia; we work with teams wherever they are. Retainers are quoted in USD or AUD per engagement. We charge market rate for senior engineering; the value is right-sizing, speed, and risk removal, not a lower price.

## What a retainer covers

- **CI/CD pipelines**: build, test, and deploy with a rollback path, on GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- **Infrastructure as Code**: Terraform for everything new, existing infrastructure codified within 90 days.
- **Monitoring and alerting**: Prometheus and Grafana or cloud-native, routed to Slack or email.
- **Backups and disaster recovery**: backups restored on a schedule, not just configured.
- **Security baseline**: least-privilege access, patching cadence, secrets out of code, image scanning.
- **Cost optimization**: monthly savings review, instance right-sizing, reserved instances and savings plans.

Three levels of coverage on a flat monthly retainer. No setup fee, no lock-in, 30 days' notice to switch or cancel.

- **Foundation** (safety net: weekly review, monthly written report) for early teams putting something real into production.
- **Operate** (delivery engine: weekly releases, 4-hour response target) for funded startups and SMBs shipping every week.
- **Embedded** (standing SRE: on-call cover, weekly planning call) for scaling teams that need standing SRE capacity.

- **Infrastructure Risk Audit**: $1,900 AUD flat, two weeks, no obligation. Written risk scorecard across eight domains, the three highest-impact fixes, and a prioritized 90-day roadmap. Fee credited in full against the first retainer month if you sign within 30 days.
- **DevOps Risk Scorecard**: free ten-minute self-assessment across the same eight domains, with a red/amber/green score per domain.

## Proof

The same stack we deploy for clients runs as a live homelab 24 hours a day: Proxmox virtualisation, Kubernetes, Terraform-managed infrastructure, GitLab CI, and a self-hosted application stack. New tooling is tested there before it touches a client environment.
